The Beacon is next to the harbour in Whitehaven. There is plenty of parking (pay
& display) adjacent to the museum. The building is new and distinctive and
is an attraction for tourists. The gallery is on the ground floor to the left of
the entrance hall and is home for temporary exhibitions and a small restaurant.
Wheelchair access to the galley is good.

This small gallery is located on the high street in Egremont and doubles up as the local tourist information office. It is a charity run by a management committee and membership costs £12.50 per year. Members can display work in the gallery on the "Members Wall". The viewing area is upstairs. There are continuous exhibitions by local artists as well as the temporary exhibitions. You can park on the main road outside the gallery.
